Young’s expansive portfolio includes working with first-class organizations such as Disney Interactive, Mattel, THQ, EA, Konami, U.S. National Park Service, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force to name a few.
Since 2003, Young has helmed K Young & Associates, a marketing solutions consultancy — experts in bringing products, services and companies to market.
Prior to K Young & Associates, Young was a 20th Century Fox Filmed Entertainment marketing executive responsible for global marketing of all Fox properties including The Simpsons, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Alien, Aliens vs Predator, No One Lives Forever, Die Hard: Nakatomi Plaza, etc. across multiple gaming platforms.
Young is also a film/TV/documentary producer, director and writer. In 2011, she produced, negotiated and secured distribution rights for her 1st feature film, the indie sci-fi thriller, Darkening Sky. Darkening Sky is available through all major distribution channels including Wal-Mart, Target, Netflix, Redbox and Blockbuster. Upon its release, Darkening Sky premiered at the Arclight in Hollywood, CA to a sold-out crowd and on video on-demand, PPV cable and satellite services across North America. The film also achieved festival status as a Finalist in the Hollywood Film Festival. An auspicious beginning for a first-time film producer!
In addition to her marketing experience, Young was a Park Ranger in the National Park Service serving in Acadia National Park, Maine.
Originally hailing from the Midwest, Young attended Diamond High School in Diamond, Missouri and is a Missouri Southern State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
A Habitat for Humanity International and National Park Service volunteer, Young also enjoys world travel and experiencing the great outdoors.
